That’s a funny looking Jeep...

As far as I’m concerned, Hummer=flashier, more obnoxious Jeep.

The H3 was my favorite Jeep

The H3 is pretty subdued compared to a lot of Jeeps I have seen.

My fist thought was insurance scam. 3 other cars pulled out. Unrelated to the search.

Sounds fishy, plus I don’t see any deployed airbags in that H3. That’s definitely an airbag-deploying accident, and H3s had side curtains IIRC.

That would be funny in a way if it was related to the search, a 77 year old woman who drives a Hummer, she would definitely get a pass in my book

prestigious |prestijs, -st-|
adjective
inspiring respect and admiration ; having high status
Not something that describes an H3 in my mind. Uppity, yes. Definitely. Prestigious though? I don’t think so.

In the mind of the driver. They would think they are better. I don’t really care for them.
Short story, back in mid-’00s the Midwest Jeepthing Club would go “ go build trails” on a guys property on weekends and then 4-wheel 1/2 day as like payment or reward. There was even 2 of the Jeep Jamborees there.
The owner would allow the hummer club to come out on the trails we built, sized for jeeps, and widen everything for themselves. Jeep people would bitch about it, the guy made $$ off work we put in for us.
That's why I would think a driver gets the high & Mighty attitude with owning a hummer.

I run into people(must of them I call ‘cousin’) south of the Mason-Dixon line that just call all cars bigger-than-a-crossover, smaller-than-a-Suburban, with possibilities of offroading lower-case-‘j’ jeeps.
RAV4? jeep
Liberty? jeep
CRV? jeep
Disco/Defender? jeep
Wrangler? Jeep
HMMWV? jeep
